Catalyst Movies strives to provide entertaining and inspirational films that can be used as a tool for ministry. Based on the greatest meaning derived from a story, we'll often partner with organizations which provide personal next steps or valuable continued outreach for churches.  This type of coordination of meaningful storytelling with a personal ministry application allows the power of the stories to carry on beyond just another night at the movies.

FAQs

Is this really a FREE online movie night? What's the catch?

These are really FREE. We do not charge to watch these live showings. We always encourage viewers, if they love the films, to share about the viewing on social media and with your friends. Also, please consider purchasing a physical or digital copy of the movie for your personal collection.  Finally, we often provide an opportunity to donate to front-line organizations which work in similar areas that are covered in these films, but your gift is not required to enjoy the movie.

Can I share the link to this page with family and friends to sign up?

What is the MPAA rating of the film(s)?

We may at times provide viewings of films based on the value of their message, but may have some objectionable material. We'll always provide in-depth reviews from trusted sources for the family.

Can our church host a movie night with these films?

Yes! You have two options to do so. 

Option 1 - Share this link to your congregation (Free option)

Option 2 - Host your own movie night, online or at your venue (Donation offering required)

Your church can host a Movie Night on YOUR church website on a day of your choice within the next 60 days using a Catalyst Movies media player. 

We do require that you request your viewers make a donation* to cover the license fee for the producer with 90% of their gift forwarded to the appropriate mission partner on the film. 

*A donation button is included on the media player and routes to the appropriate mission partner on the film.

Your organization will be provided with a standard 12-month In-Church license, which allows you to show the movie at your church venue as many times as you want over the next 12 months.
